Like a symbol for human endeavour, the cathedral stretches up toward the heavens. It is bluer than the sky, more open than the dreams of the brave, a stage and a salon brimming with possibilities. Its shape is both strong and fragile, built of solid wood but without walls or protection for those who enter. Most of all, Lodén’s stately sculpture is a place for reflection.

In his words: "Concrement can be an expression for solidification in an organism. “Growing together” is another description. I now bear the dream that the cathedral will help us humans to let go of our thoughts and feelings so that we – with respect for one another – can grow together." The cathedral is a mobile structure on tour through Sweden.
